Drs. Wehmeyer and Shogren at KU Need Self-Determination Survey Participants

Participate in a Survey to Develop a New Measure of Self-Determination!

Drs. Wehmeyer and Shogren from the University of Kansas are working to develop and validate a new assessment to measure self-determination, the Self-Determination Inventory: Self-Report (SDI:SR). The SDI:SR is a measure of students’ perception of their ability to engage in self-determined actions, like goal setting, planning and decision-making. Ultimately, we hope to improve success and achievement for all students by better understanding students’ levels of self-determination.

Students ages 18 to 22 with and without disabilities are invited to complete a 20-minute self-report survey.  A survey report and $5.00 gift card will be offered to all online participants.
