Across the country, a growing number of state legislatures are taking action to expand opportunities for postsecondary education for students with intellectual disabilities. While some states have already succeeded in passing landmark acts that make postsecondary education more accessible towards and inclusive of students with intellectual disabilities, others are still debating bills and some have yet to introduce significant legislation.
