Each college is unique and different, but inclusive academic opportunities with peers in college classes are what we all strive to achieve. This session will provide practical strategies you can use to organize meaningful academic learning for all students related to advising, scheduling, homework, academic support training, and ongoing collaboration and communication resources to help foster and expand academic networks. We will also discuss ways to evaluate student performance and tips for working with disability services/college instructors to help assess student learning beyond traditional projects and assessments.
Presented by Kelly R. Kelley, PhD, Co-Director of the University Participant (UP) Program and assistant professor at Western Carolina University.
