school to adult life.
PROCEDURES
The procedures of this study include:
1. Creating an account on the Transition Coalition website
Participants interested in receiving
or utilizing the online training, surveys, and materials developed by
the Transition Coalition will need to create an account to have access
to all materials. To create an account, a participant must identify
an email address and password for the account. In addition, a
participant must complete a demographic data survey. No highly
sensitive data (e.g. social security number, address, credit card information,
student id, etc.) is requested. Without an account, participants
can still be able to obtain and use some of the materials on the website.
2. Generate data by taking modules, surveys or participating in online communities
Once an account has been created, participants
using the Transition Coalition website have access to all free online
training, surveys, materials, and online communities. As a participant
completing a training module, you will be asked to complete a pre-post
knowledge survey, as well as other specific responses to case-based
examples and questions. The data generated from your completion of modules,
surveys, and other online resources is entered into our database for
the purpose of determining effectiveness of our online tools. Your data
will be aggregated with other participants’ data and will never be
used individually or with your name associated with it.
