Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services (OSERS)
The three divisions under the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) are:
- Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)
Administers programs and projects relating to the free appropriate public education of all children and youth with disabilities, from birth through age 21. - Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
Oversees programs that provide funds to state vocational rehabilitation agencies to provide employment-related services for individuals with disabilities. - National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)
Provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.
