I work with individuals through VR and work with some transition age youth. I work with individuals with brain injuries from transition age on up. I am also a CBIS. any information is added to my knowledge. Thank you!
You are very welcome!
Why is it we as parents are So restricted with VR and their ability is so very limited on helping our adult children and yet they get plenty of funding????
It has been impossible to get VR HI and VR TBI to collaborate??? Any Suggestions
I just posted the assessment Janet detailed near the beginning of her presentation. Will this be helpful for assessing students you work with? Have you used any other brain injury specific assessments in the past that might be worth sharing here?
Janet talks about how to use the HELPS Brain Injury Screening Tool (above) at about 11:45 in the video! Check it out to see how you can use it as well. Perhaps some students who have been identified with other disabilities may be experiencing residual effects of a brain injury.
